If you are like us we love to get out on or in the water whenever we are near the beach. for us it is more a problem of family size and cost than it is a issue with motivation. When you have six people in your family a day ON the water can get a bit pricey. As for going fishing again cost for one of those big charters can be prohibitive. So we often find ourselves having to divide and conquer and take only those that really want to go.
Hotels make all the difference
When taking your next vacation, making your long weekend life getaway just right could be the difference of just having the right hotel. But finding the right hotel is getting more and more difficult and here is why.

Many people as us how this could happen and our reply often is more than they considered and deeper than they hoped to go in their search.

Aloha shirts are making a comeback(rumor?)
Once cherished as THE shirt to wear when you are in Hawaii aloha shirts took the world by storm in the early to mid 1930′s and have been a tradition ever since. They hit a peak in the mid sixties when they were brought to America and became an unofficial symbol of “casual Friday”. When most men were required to wear dress shirts and ties Monday through Thursdays some companies began letting employees wear Hawaiian shirts or Aloha shirts on Friday. The campaign even gained legs when the term “Aloha Friday” was coined back in Hawaii and stuck. From then it became a tradition in Hawaii and even had a song made of it. “It’s Aloha Friday…no work ’til Monday!” became an excuse for a three day weekend in Hawaii. You can find Aloha or Hawaiian shirts in almost any shop that sits close to a beach. You know, the ones that carry flamingo’s made of little tiny shells and give you a free sand dollar with every purchase?
